Bishop Steven W. Banks is the Senior Pastor and Chief Executive Officer of, Living Waters Christian Fellowship (LWCF) and General Overseer of Living Waters International Alliance (LWIA) Newport News, VA.
In addition to providing oversight to ministries throughout the country he also provides oversight to ministries in India and South Africa. Bishop Banks is a visionary leader who God has powerfully gifted with an Apostolic and Prophetic mandate to strengthen the Body of Christ.
As a result of his excellent leadership, the congregation experienced phenomenal growth both numerically and financially, therefore, in September 2003, LWCF purchased the Destiny Center (100,000 sq. ft).
Bishop Banks holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion and Philosophy (1987) and a Master's of Divinity (1998) from Virginia Union University. He is married to the former Keira Taylor of Freeport, New York, who serves as Executive Pastor of LWCF. They are the proud parents of two children, Keira Iman and Jordan Immanuel.
