Get ready, Teens!

Bishop Banks has declared 2009 to be the Year of Prophetic Fulfillment!!

As we prepare to walk in the manifestation of prophetic words that have been spoken over our lives, I encourage you to come out and connect with our Chosen Generation Teen Ministry.   We’d love for you to be a part of this growing teen ministry.   

Our teens walk in confidence, knowing that they are entitled to ALL the promises of God.  Just as
Romans 4:16 says, these promises come by faith.  Yes, by faith!  Our teens know that they don’t have to jump through hoops, nor put on a long black skirt and white shirt in order to receive these promises.   They just have to have faith and believe that God is fully able to do what He said He would do. 

We encourage each teen to believe God for their salvation, a person relationship with Jesus Christ.  Romans 10:9 lets us know that if we confess with our mouth “Jesus is Lord” and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved.  

Salvation is not the only promise God has made.  He has also promised us healing and deliverance.  Our teens understand that they are entitled to these promises “by faith” as well.  Isaiah says it best; by His stripes, we are healed.  Yes, we are healed not only physically but also emotionally (from the hurts and pains of our past).   We are delivered from every attack of the enemy and generational curses designed to prevent us from inheriting the Promise Land, a land flowing with milk (the substance) and honey (the sweet stuff). 

Teens, no matter how challenging 2008 was for you, 2009 is the year of Prophetic Fulfillment.  Our Bishop has challenged us to revisit those prophetic words that have been spoken over our lives.  We are to recall the promises God has made and the prophetic entries written in our journals. 

Get ready, get excited!!  You are about to experience 2009 – Prophetic Fulfillment!!
